Building a Product Catalog
The basic workflow for creating a catalog of products or services your AI Manager features in posts.

When to use this workflow
Use this when you have multiple products, services, or menu items you want featured regularly in posts — but you don't have an e-commerce store with auto-sync.
Planning your catalog
- Start with 5–10 hero items (your best-sellers, signature offerings)
- Don't catalog everything — your AI Manager pulls from Collateral for variety
- Think: what do I want posts about specifically?
Field-by-field guide
| Field | Required? | What to write | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Title | Yes | Specific name, not generic category | "Signature Margarita" not "Drink" |
| Description | Yes | Details your AI Manager uses for copy — flavor, features, who it’s for | "House-made lime cordial, Espolon Blanco, Cointreau, smoked salt rim. Our #1 cocktail for 5 years." |
| Tag | Yes | What type of thing this is | "Food or Beverage" |
| Media Preference | No | Default: AI decides. Change if you want specific control | Leave default for now |
| External Link | No | Where to buy or learn more | yourshop.com/margarita |
| Price | No | Display price in posts | $12 |
Adding media
- Default: “AI decides” — pulls from your uploaded collateral contextually
- Or: Select a specific image or video from your collateral library
- Or: Upload multiple images — your AI Manager rotates through them for variety
Example: Building a restaurant catalog
With these 5 items, your AI Manager creates a balanced mix:
- Monday: Post about Cacio e Pepe with customer quote
- Wednesday: Chef Maria spotlight + what she's cooking this week
- Friday: Weekend brunch preview
- Saturday: Sommelier's wine pick paired with Burrata appetizer
Pro Tips
- •Write descriptions for your AI Manager, not the customer — be detailed, not poetic.
- •Tag accurately — it affects tone and content mix.
- •Start small (5 items), add more as you see what your AI Manager creates.
